That's probably bad. Phillip't not sure if he should try and add more magic to the mix or not- most of his spells are just as likely to surprise Rinzen and distract her as the jerk she's fighting. He doesn't know if this is how that magic works, but he will try to concentrate with her, attempting to stop the spears from crumbling.
